Gatun Locks   
Comments: Located on the entrance of the Panama Canal, is part of a series of three locks. The construction of locks on the Atlantic side consist of a single complex in Gatun, which has three steps. The existing locks will continue to operate after the third set of locks is incorporated in the Canal. With the appropriate maintenance, the existing locks will continue to operate indefinitely.
Cristobal Port

Cruise Port Colon 2000   
Comments: The Colon 2000 terminal is generally used for cruise ships that are docking in Colon for the entire day and not entering the Panama Canal.

Comments: Considered the most efficient port in Latin America, MIT serves the Caribbean and South American region transshipping around 1.5 million TEUs a year
Colon, Province of Panama   
Comments: Is a city about 150 years old, with a colorful history. Colon has played a very important part in the history of the Panama Canal and the Panama Canal Railroad. Founded in 1850 under the name Aspinwall. The name was changed to Colon in honor of Christopher Columbus. The extraordinary province of Colon has historical sites, beautiful beaches and the second largest free trade zone in the world.
Colon Free Zone   
Comments: The largest free zone in America and the second largest in the world, Colon Free Zone is dedicated to re-export merchandise to Latin America and Caribbean
