Apr 7 2017, ISS-Australia

Dear Valued Customer,

Please see below important information from the Port Manager, Gladstone of Inchcape Shipping Services in regards to Auckland Point Gladstone, vessels with wire mooring lines will no longer be accepted for berthing at Wharfs 1,2,3 and 4.

Effective immediately, vessels with wire mooring lines will no longer be accepted for berthing at Auckland Point wharves (Gladstone Port).  Following numerous risk assessments it has been deemed that vessels utilising wire mooring lines pose a greater risk of causing manual handling injuries for linesman personnel.
