The Past – Our History

The history of the ISS Lloyd’s Agency network goes back to the early 19 TH century. At that time ISS was appointed to report on shipping movements and casualties. ISS carried out those activities in both a prompt and efficient manner.

The Present – Today

Today ISS Lloyd’s Agents continue to report on shipping movements and casualties, but today we have also been granted authority to adjust and settle claims on behalf of all the major marine underwriters.

We are also experts when it comes to dealing with claims and claim settlements.

We now offer an extremely high quality surveying service to the insurance markets worldwide.

ISS Lloyd’s Agents cover all the major ports in the Middle East and are also present in East Africa. This network of Agencies is acknowledged for its expertise in marine surveying and adjusting claims.

Today ISS has expanded its services as Lloyd’s Agents by employing experienced surveyors to carry our hull, machinery, cargo inspections, bunker surveys, draft surveys as well as other marine surveys of a more complex nature.

By bringing together groups of claims executives and surveyors, in all our offices throughout the Arabian Gulf and East Africa, we have built a group of Lloyd’s Agency units that can offer its clients a unique product range, coupled with an incomparable approach to problem solving.

Our work forces us to face challenges in our industry every day; nevertheless we are experts at assessing and meeting these challenges and resolving them with both speed and efficiency.
