Main Purpose of Job 

Key services to undertake but not limited to

  • Centralized inquiry management,
  • Operational and Commercial Activity Analysis and Support
  • Global administration and product support for global Survey and Inspection products,
  • Tariff upkeep and pricing support to Hub, Commercial and Operations teams. 
  • Opportunity identification of survey products for global hub customers.
  • Product identification and development with VP Global Survey/ Cluster Heads.
  • Provide high level of service delivery to internal and external stakeholders, with focus on setting the standard for Marine Survey services in the industry. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Inquiry Management – respond to global inquires within 24 hours of receipt providing support and direction at global level of products.
  • Analysis of Survey Activity – identify vendor, port, vessel insight, and marketable information.
  • Global Survey Administration – support local offices with product delivery and centralized reporting formats. 
  • Salesforce Survey Opportunity Review – support conversion and management of Salesforce opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Commercial Support – remote support to Commercial/ Operations staff to promote Survey products

  • Hub Team Engagement - Work in conjunction with hub teams to proactively identify upcoming port calls where Survey products can be delivered and encourage uptake.  Compare Hub Customer incurred costs against Survey Product costs, to provide cost analysis and solution proposal potential for Commercial/Account Owner. Product awareness support / training to Hub teams
  • Customer Service excellence: Deliver a positive customer experience at all opportunities to both internal and external stakeholders whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory and principal requirements.  Working proactively to maximize customer experience.
  • Reporting– support monthly report generation for product tracking and development
  • Safety, Quality and Environment: Ensure strict compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental procedures in accordance with Inchcape Quality Management System, Inchcape Health and Safety Environment policies, and Port and Terminal regulations and procedures to deliver highest quality services to the customers
  • Teamwork:   Ability to self-manage and organize within team structure. Proactively working as part of the Inchcape organization to assist other team members and other departments to achieve the organizational goals and objectives. 
  • Communication: Proactive, hands on and professional communications to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Customer Satisfaction Tracking – Survey Product
  • Product / Training Material generation / distribution
  • Safe Operations – promote safe operations at all occasion
  • The post holder will carry out any other duties as are within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by their manager and ensure full utilization of all Inchcape systems according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Education requirements


  • Experienced user of computer applications such as MS-Windows, Office, Outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to undertake duties in general marine surveying
  • Ability to identify and act, either independently, or seek appropriate advice in the event of change of circumstance in performing dut
  • Maintenance of strong relationship with customers


  • High School Certificate or Equivalent
  • Drone / Technology skills
  • Accreditation with Flag State Authorities as Flag State Inspect
