The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Snr Sales Executive within our Freight Forwarding team. The role is based out of Qatar, and the job holder shall be responsible for the promotion of Cargo services, through sales and Marketing of General Inbound / Outbound Total logistics solutions and services to Qatar clients. While ensuring that, all sales activities are in line with the agreed terms and in conformity to the ISS Ethics compliance.

 

Key accountabilities are:

  • Business Development. Source new clients; maintain excellent business relationships with the current pool of clients; develop strategic moves to expand the current business profiles using traditional and creative methods; establish marketing/sales campaigns in order to identify new leads; cultivate and nurture prospects in order to drive business growth to meet and exceed budgeted targets, Special focus on Europe/ Turkey/ India/ Middle East Trade lane in coordination with Agents and support sales team with the commercial and ops
  • Revenue Generation: Generate revenue through maximizing sales, promote principals’ products with consultants, end users and EPC contractors with a view to meet and exceed set sales budgets. Manage products, pricing, and margins according to the agreed terms
  • Pricing: Provides pricing of new proposals/clients/principals to ensure that all resources needed to complete the project identified, the cost is calculated accurately, and the price is determined within established guidelines.
  • Market Awareness: Maintain excellent awareness of the industry changes across the region by ensuring a prompt communication with the Commercial and Sales team, locally and regionally. As well as monitoring the competitors’ activities and ensure apt responses when necessary.
  • Debt Control: Monitoring debt collections with the purpose of maintaining low average of debtors and credit periods within ISS guidelines and to check the increase of sale revenues and eventual increase of credit allowance to good customers and plan a strategic action relative to bad debts to minimized and alleviate risk of loss.
Key skills

 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in Qatar
  • Knowledge of the local market, competitors, product knowledge
  • Good Commercial acumen
  • Proficient with communication and computer skills
  • Working knowledge of MS office
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently or as part of a team with varied backgrounds/functions/products
  • Result oriented and places great emphasis on customer focus
  • Virtual teaming and ability of working with cross functional business groups
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Appointment to this role will be subject to satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work documentation depending upon your geographical location.
