Asian Gypsy Moth (AGM) High Risk Period

Dear valued customer,

The Asian Gypsy Moth (AGM) high risk period for this year will start in Japan (25th May), Korea (1st June) and FE Russia (1st July).

Ships calling to these countries during the high-risk period will need to ensure that the ship is free of AGM upon departure from the port. Otherwise, it may cause delay of port entry when ships call at ports in USA, Canada, Chile, Australia, and New Zealand.

We understand the port authorities of USA, Canada and Chile demand AGM free certificates issued by designated surveyors from ships that have called from AGM high risk ports during the period.

Please see the below joint AGM bulletin issued by Canada and US department of agriculture.

If your vessels are scheduled to call at ports in the above listed countries, please take this under consideration.
