Inchcape is pleased to advise that it has signed an Agreement with Hapag Lloyd to provide agency services for the Liner in Tanzania, effective 1st March 2021.
Hamburg based Hapag Lloyd is currently the fifth largest container line in the world by capacity and is steadily expanding its footprint in Africa. Inchcape and Hapag already share a very good relationship with Inchcape representing Hapag Lloyd in other parts of the world as well.
The current service into Dar es Salaam is via Hapag Lloyds East Africa Service 2 (EAS2) service, which has a rotation of Jebel Ali/Mombasa/Dar es Salaam/Mumbai/Mundra/Jebel Ali for direct coverage, with Jebel Ali serving as a transshipment point for global cargo.
