Port Advisory - Pipeline Explosion – Port of Corpus Christi

Please be advised there has been a pipeline explosion at the port of Corpus Christi, Texas USA.

A pipeline exploded after being struck by a dredging barge in Corpus Christi around 0800 21st August, local time. 
US Coast Guard is on the scene to assist in search and rescue operation as fire fighters battle flames. 

The barge and the grain elevator caught fire. 
The inner harbor toward Harbor Bridge is closed to all vessel traffic at this time.

Due to the pipeline explosion on 21st August, the Inner Harbor is still closed due to safety. 
The USGC has issued the attached MSIB update.
The safety zone has been modified (attached). The MSIB states, “no vessels are allowed to enter or exit the safety zone without permission”.
