World of Ports – 14-Day Free Trial Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your 14-day free trial access to the World of Ports platform (“Platform”). By registering for the trial, you agree to be bound by these Terms and:

You will receive complimentary access to the Platform for a period of 14 days starting from the date of registration. Access is limited to the features and services specified by the Inchcape Shipping Services Group (“ISS”).

3. Eligibility

The trial is available to both existing customers and non-customers. You must be at least 18 years old and reside in a region where the Platform is legally accessible.

4. No Charges During Trial

No payment is required during the trial period.

5. End of Trial

This trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. At the end of the 14-day free trial your access will automatically end. However, if you wish to continue using the Platform after the trial ends, please go to https://www.worldofports.com/price-band-registration. In such an event standard subscription fees will apply.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your trial at any time during the 14-day period without incurring any charges. Cancellation can be done via your account settings or by contacting support.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided through the Platform remain the intellectual property of ISS.

8. User Obligations

You agree to use the Platform lawfully, to refrain from any activity that may harm the Platform or its users and to comply with the Acceptable Use Policy (which can be found within the World of Ports Terms and Conditions). Misuse may result in termination of access.

9. Limitation of Liability

The material displayed on our site is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we, other members of our group of companies and third parties connected to us hereby expressly exclude:

  • All conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.
  • Any liability for direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform during the trial period, including
  • Loss of income or revenue;
  • Loss of business;
  • Loss of profits or contracts;
  • Loss of anticipated savings;
  • Loss of data;
  • Loss of goodwill;
  • Wasted management or office time; and

whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

This does not affect ISS’ liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, nor our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, nor any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Modifications

ISS reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
