Various public events are planned to celebrate Papua New Guinea’s 50th Independence Anniversary on 16 September.
Daily activities from 2 September through 17 September are expected to cause disruptions and delays to pedestrian, road, and maritime traffic.
In addition to 16 September, both 15 and 17 September have also been declared public holidays.
