Inchcape Shipping Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Jaya Desai as Vice President, Marine Services, effective 11 August 2025.
Based in Dubai, Jaya will lead the Marine Services function, which brings together Inchcape’s auxiliary services under one strategic umbrella. This role has been created to unify our commercial, organisational, and customer engagement efforts, with a focus on increasing customer centricity, accelerating growth, promoting our capabilities, and exploring opportunities for new service development.
Jaya brings over 16 years of senior leadership experience in the maritime industry, with a strong track record of driving customer-focused growth, leading global teams, and delivering innovative service solutions across complex markets. Her deep understanding of marine services and customer engagement will be instrumental in shaping the future of this function at Inchcape.
In addition to Marine Services, Jaya will also oversee Inchcape’s World of Ports product — a digital extension of our port expertise that transforms decades of operational insight into actionable intelligence for our customers. Integrating World of Ports into Marine Services will strengthen the connection between our data, our people, and our service delivery.
