After Typhoon Yagi hit northern Vietnam, Hai Phong and Quang Ninh port authorities required several days to clear the channels before ships could resume normal entry and exit operations.
As of now, Hai Phong and Hon Gai ports have returned to normal operations, albeit with congestion. However, Cam Pha port remains suspended and is expected to reopen around September 14, 2024.
Due to the typhoon’s effects, local authorities have issued high flood warnings for Hanoi and Hai Phong on September 11, 2024. Consequently, crew changes are currently unsafe and unable to be arranged at Cam Pha, Hai Phong, and Hon Gai ports
