The process of testing fuel samples taken from within vessels or tanks onboard vessels which must be compliant with MARPOL 73/78 the International Convention for the Prevention of Air Pollution from ships. The sample is taken in the presence of the supplier and taken into a ratified container, locked and then sealed with a serial numbered, tamper-evident seal. Samples
