The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) announced the implementation of a draft reduction at the Neo Panamax Locks. The ACP will continue to closely monitor lake levels and hydrological projections and will announce any additional operational adjustments as deemed necessary.
- Effective August 15, 2026, the maximum authorised draft will be adjusted to 14.78 meters (48.5 feet) TFW.
- Effective August 26, 2026, the maximum authorised draft will be adjusted to 14.63 meters (48.0 feet) TFW.
- Effective September 3rd , 2026, the maximum authorised draft will be adjusted to 14.48 meters (47.5 feet) TFW.
