Grain Corridor Update

Ukrainian ports Odessa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi have been opened as of the 27th of July 2022. We can expect the first vessel sailing by the end of the week, as it’s critical to release the vessels which are still blocked in ports. As per the Ports Administration, further in/out activity “will be carried out by forming a caravan, which will be accompanied by the lead ship”. According vessel application form and Letter of Warranty would be arranged by responsible agent (samples linked below). The cargoes declared for export are grain, foodstuffs and, possibly, fertilisers (declared, but not confirmed). Nothing noted for imports thus far. In this context, ISS Ukraine is ready to provide full range of services, including husbandry, OPA, Owner’s matters, CLS, supply etc. covering Ukrainian ports: Odessa, Chornomorsk, Pivdennyi, Izmail, Reni.

ISS underlines that it has staff located in the vicinity, and have number of vendors and sub-agents to act in our name. Our staff safety remains the priority. We’ll keep monitoring the situation and revert with developments.
