Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle is forecast to arrive in the upper North Island early Sunday 12th February. Wind speeds of up to 150km and heavy rainfall of 300mm. Swell forecasts off the East Coast up to 12m.
From Sunday noon the below ports are issuing closure or restricted movements notices . Napier is additionally giving preliminary notice of berth evacuations.
The current port notice period for the Cyclone is Sunday 12th through to pm Wednesday 15th February.
