A tropical deluge in the wake of Tropical Cyclone Jasper has caused the largest flood in more than a century in the Cairns region of northern Qld.
All Ports are open except for Cairns which is restricted to vessels under 50 meters until an assessment made later this morning (18/Dec) and further advice later this afternoon.
Cairns airport is currently closed and some major roads (Captain Cook Highway and Range Road) remain closed.
