The Board of Inchcape Shipping Services World are pleased to confirm the permanent appointment of Mr Frank Olsen as the Chief Executive Officer of Inchcape Shipping Services effective 27th July 2018. Frank, who has served as the COO of the Inchcape Marine Services business since 2017, was appointed CEO (Acting) in June 2018. Frank joined Inchcape Shipping Services in 2016 as Head of Ship & Crew Solution. He has previously held various management positions within the maritime service industry and has a seafaring background. Frank has been instrumental in driving the Inchcape Marine Services strategy. In particular, he has led the focus on productivity and the delivery of value though the improvement of our data and technology use. The Board extends its congratulations and continued support to Frank and look forward to sharing the success he brings to his new role in due course.
Subsequently to this, Inchcape Shipping Services is delighted to announce the promotion of Trond Baade to Chief Operations Officer, Christopher Crookall to Chief Commercial Officer and Lisa Holum to VP Global Head of Managed Services.
Trond joined Inchcape Shipping Services in 2003 as Area General Manager for Marine Services in the Arabian Gulf and India, based in Dubai. From 2006 Trond went on to hold other senior corporate positions in both Dubai and London before being promoted to Senior Vice President for Managed Services in 2014. During Trond’s tenure as SVP Managed Services, he was responsible for driving operational and financial performance for Inchcape’s major HUB customers. Prior to Inchcape, Trond held various senior management positions within the maritime industry and has a seafaring background as a Master Mariner.
Christopher joined Inchcape in 2014 as Vice President for Liner Solutions based in Dubai and was responsible for driving significant profitable growth during his tenure. Since August 2017, Christopher has been based in London as Senior Vice President for Global Sales. Prior to Inchcape, Christopher held various management positions within the maritime industry predominately in senior positions with the AP Moller Maersk Group running Agency businesses in Africa and in Trade management in Copenhagen. Christopher started his career as a management trainee at P&O Nedlloyd and has worked in Europe, North America and South America as well as Africa and the Middle East.
Lisa Holum joined Inchcape in 2017 as VP Marine Services North Europe and has been instrumental in driving operation efficiency improvements in the region. Lisa started her career at sea where she sailed to the rank of Chief Officer with Teekay and Knutsen OAS in worldwide trade. After going ashore in 2007 Lisa has held management positions at Teekay in Norway and Brazil, and Bernhard Schulte Ship Management in Cyprus.
