A message from our CEO: Challenges Seafarers are Facing Amidst COVID-19

Dear Customers,

The challenges our industry is facing in the wake of COVID-19 are complex and constantly changing, particularly with regards to husbandry services and crew changes around the world.

In these uncertain times, crew logistics services have been difficult to arrange in most ports. As a consequence, those on board are unable to return home. Crew who are at home, and unable to join a scheduled vessel, struggle without an income, and many are locked down in their own countries.

Our teams are working around the clock to offer support whenever and wherever possible, in order to ensure the welfare of crews. Information is key and we are doing everything we can to keep customers informed as the situation continues to evolve.

Where possible, we are arranging for crew to get home to their families, while adhering to strict COVID-19 regulations. For the crew that remain onboard ships we are working on options to connect them with their loved ones. We are working closely with organisations such as the Seafarers Mission and Local Seafarers Union to keep morale high by providing means of entertainment and connectivity.
