The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) has announced the following additional SC Tolls Surcharge, effective 15 June 2026.
Important Note
- Containerships
New 12% The surcharge levied on (Laden/Ballast) containerships from total Suez Canal transit dues (including normal transit dues in addition to surcharges for tiers of containers on weather deck).
- Vehicle Carriers
The surcharge levied on (Laden/Ballast) “Vehicles Carriers” [Rate (10) of the Transit Dues Schedule] transiting the Suez Canal Northbound ONLY, is amended to be 26% from Suez Canal normal transit dues rather than 14%.
A surcharge of 12% from Suez Canal normal transit dues is levied on (Laden/Ballast) “Vehicles Carriers” [Rate (10) of the Transit Dues Schedule] transiting the Suez Canal Southbound ONLY.
