SCA releases amendments to Crude Oil and Petroleum Tanker surcharges

The Suez Canal Authority has issued periodical amendments for Circulars No (1) / 2022 and No (2) /2022 concerning additional SCA surcharges levied on Laden / Ballast Suez Canal transits for (Crude Oil Tankers) and (Petroleum Products Tankers) as per the below periodicals applicable and will come in force as of 1^st of April 2023

The SCA surcharges have increased for both tankers type as follows:

• Laden Transits: From the current 15% surcharge to 25% surcharge of the Suez Canal normal transit tolls.
• Ballast Transits: From the current 5% surcharge to 15% surcharge of the Suez Canal normal transit tolls.
