Please be informed that there is a regulation which is in force as of 01.12.2022 that all tankers loaded with crude oil cargo (petroleum) must provide a letter of P&I to VTS before passage of Turkish Straits.
The P&I Letter must contain following information “details of vessel, details of cargo loaded, voyage details” and must be confirmed that the P&I insurance is in force & inclusive for subj vessel’s voyage & the cargo loaded.
