Earthquake in Turkey – Port Update

Yesterday 2 new earthquakes were registered in the area close to Iskenderun measuring approx 6.0 / 6.5., compounding the serious structural damage caused by the initial earthquakes.

Local ports status:

Iskenderun port: Dry cargo terminals are getting back to service except for Limak where there was a fire after the earthquake. As per the announcement dated 17th of Feb, the terminal needs at least 3 months time to get back to full service.

Ceyhan Botas Terminal: All operations resume both at Iraq and Azeri lines.

Dortyol Botas Terminal: All operations resume both at crude and LPG berths.

Yumurtalik Toros Terminal: All operations resume.

Airports :

Adana Airport: Operating as normal. 

Hatay Airport: Damage repaired and operating as normal.

Gaziantep Airport: Operating as normal. 

Kahramanmaras Airport: Operations have stopped for the moment for civilian flights.
