South African Ports (Transnet) remain on strike but to a lesser degree:

Transnet SOC Limited (“Transnet”) and the company’s majority union UNTU have reached a three-year wage agreement, applicable for the period 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2025, in a process mediated by the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA). This ends the current industrial action by UNTU members with immediate effect.

TPT’s focus areas are the return to work, addressing the backlog across the terminals and the implementation of recovery plans. Please contact your local key accounts team, who will be able to assist with any further information.
