Geelong Port have confirmed that Refinery Pier has resumed normal operations.
All berths are therefore operational.

An incident occurred overnight at the Viva Energy Refinery. Fire Rescue Victoria attended the site and worked through the night.
The incident has been brought under control. Emergency Management Victoria has confirmed that there is no threat to public safety, and that normal activities may resume in the surrounding areas.
Operational status as at 09:00 (local time), 16 April 2026:
- Lascelles Wharf: Operating as normal
- Corio Quay: Operating as normal
- Refinery Pier: Closed until further notice as a precaution
An update will be issued once normal operations at the Refinery Pier resume.
