Movements of vessels has been suspended due to a sit down strike action from the workers in relation to the terms on concession agreement between the Port of Tema and the Meridian Port Services (MPS) ceding the port operations to the private terminal operator.
There is crisis meeting ongoing to address the impasse which hopefully issues should be resolved by COB 13th July 2022 for movement of vessels.
