The National Union of Employees of National Regulatory Agencies (Sinagências) has announced a 48-hour strike from 31 July to 1 August 2024.

This action is expected to cause delays in cargo clearance, certificate issuance, and on-board inspections by Brazilian Health Authorities (ANVISA). To mitigate the impact, companies are advised to request Free Pratique (permission issued by ANVISA authorizing operations) 72 hours before the vessel’s arrival.
